The Queens Hotel originally opened mid-century as the Queen's Motor Hotel in 1958.

The hotel quickly established itself as a foundational neighborhood fixture. For decades, it was a prominent local favorite known for its vibrant bar and restaurant scene, serving as a major community social hub.

After nearly 60 years of operation, changing neighborhood dynamics led the hotel to officially close its doors in 2015.

Following extensive interior renovations, the property reopens as a modernized 2 storey walk up boutique hotel under the name Queens Hotel.

The boutique hotel marks its 9th anniversary of operations in its modern format.

How does parking work at the Queens Hotel.
We provide free parking at the back of the hotel. It is located south off of Jardine St. Look for Queens Parking signs. Unloading 30 minute parking is available at the front.
What rooms include Air Conditioning?
All of our rooms come equipped with very efficient portable air conditioning units.
What are your business hours?
We have staff here to help with business related queries 7 am to midnight.
Is Anytime Fitness included?
Anytime Fitness is right next door and currently does not offer any discounts to guests.
Are pets allowed during the stay?
We offer a limited number of pet-friendly rooms. Please contact us in advance to confirm availability and guidelines.
Can I request a specific room?
Absolutely! While subject to availability, we do our best to honor special requests.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request. Early and late check-ins are not guaranteed. Charges will be applicable.
Is Queens Hotel wheelchair accessible?
Our Hotel is a two story walk up. We do not have an elevator.

What is your pet policy?
Pets are allowed at a price of $20 per day based on available rooms. A pet deposit of $150 is required. Pets must be under 45 LBS. Pets must be house trained. Read full pet policy pet-policy
Do you require a security deposit at check-in?
This is returned after check-out.
Is smoking allowed in the rooms?
Queens Hotel is 420 friendly. Designated covered outdoor smoking areas are available for guest use. No smoking in the Hotel. Subject to $300.00 fine
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations are free up to 48 hours before arrival. Any changes and cancellations must be made 48-hrs prior 4:00 pm (PST) on the scheduled day of arrival. Cancellations received within the 48-hr period will be marked as a no show and will incur one night’s room and tax charge to the credit card on file.
